LWTG is excited to offer a way to play, learn, and explore together in a healthy and safe way in our classroom.

The Hybrid Classroom Class Includes:

  • Bi-weekly 75 minute class to take place in the LWTG classroom​

    • The classroom will be re-designed to increase spacing​

  • Maximum class size of 15 adults plus their children

    • Each class will be divided into two Groups (Group A and Group B, of up to 8 families).

    • Groups will meet with the Teacher in the classroom on alternating weeks

    • You will stay with your group for the entire quarter and will not mix for in-person classes

    • Online meetings will be for the entire class; Group A and B together

  • Weekly online Parenting Education (or monthly school-wide speaker)

  • Monthly online evening/afternoon activity (story time, yoga, dance party, etc.)

  • Monthly art cart pickups with corresponding art curriculum (view a sample art curriculum here)

  • Older siblings are allowed to join our Hybrid Classroom classes. Please contact our registrar for more information. 

Sample Class Schedule: 

09:30am - Arrival, temperature checks and health screenings, wash hands 

09:30-10:15am - Play, art projects, sensory options, networking with families

10:15am - Clean up, bubbles, gather your belongings, meet at the carpet

10:25am - Circle time

10:40am - Goodbye Song and stickers

10:45am - 2-4 Parents take turns staying to help sanitize the space readying it for the next class

Health and Safety Measures:

  • Temperature checks and health screenings upon arrival to class every time we meet

  • Increased sanitation of shared supplies

  • Social distancing practices

  • No snack time during class

  • Masks will be required for adults and children age 5 years and older. Masks are strongly encouraged for children between 2-4 years of age. Masks are not recommended for children under the age of 2 years by King County Public Health.

  • Only enrolled parents and children (no visitors or guests) will be allowed to attend in-person classes.

  • As a cooperative program, parents share in a rotation of class support tasks, such as cleaning and re-setting the classroom to prepare for the next class.

Modifications for Different Phases

If King County moves to a different phase prior to the start of the next quarter, class models may be modified and further information will be provided.
