CLASSES

what are the classes like?

Classes consist of music and movement, age appropriate art, a variety of sensory experiences, playtime for the toddlers, a parent education discussion and time for a snack or lunch. Each class meets once a week and consists of 1 hour and 45 minutes of parent education, toddler playtime, age-appropriate toddler art, story time, music & movement and snack time. The class is followed by 15 minutes of cleanup.

How old does my child have to be?

LWTG classes are open to toddlers between 6 and 36 months (by August of the current school year) and their parents. Classes are available for parents attending with one child as well as those attending with two children, each under 36 months of age. We also offer a Pre-Preschool class for children between the ages of 30-39 months.

WHAT ABOUT MY NEWBORN?

Newborns are welcome to attend non-sibling classes until 3 months of age. Due to safety concerns and insurance requirements, infants must be in a front or backpack. You can sign up for the family class or the sibling class and a few other classes have spots for siblings as well!

Class Schedule 2008-09

Your child must fit into the specified age range as of August 31,^st 2008. For example if your child is 22 months as of August 31^st, you will choose a 12-23 or 18-36 months class. You will stay in the class the entire school year and the toddlers will all grow together.

LWTG has become very popular and classes fill quickly and have long waiting lists. Registration is on a first-come/first-served basis. To find out what classes are still open, you can send a message to the registrar or call (425) 827-6940. In your email, or on the voicemail system, please leave your:

· Your child's name and birthday

· Your first and second choice class time (classes often fill quickly!).

Our registration volunteer will contact you to confirm your selection. You will receive the registration packet in the mail, with instructions to return the completed forms, or you can print the form online by visiting the REGISTRATION page.
